Lauri Bradford Bracey, Civil Litigation Paralegal

Ms. Bracey is an Atlanta native. She joined Hindson & Melton in 2005.  Her work includes preparation of discovery, factual investigation and communications with clients and experts. Her legal background includes plaintiffs’ environmental law, securities and antitrust as well as insurance defense, products liability and medical malpractice. She has assisted in numerous trials, arbitrations and mediations. Ms. Bracey holds a B.A. in Social Work/Criminal Justice from LaGrange College.  In 1987, she obtained her certificate from the Lawyer’s Assistant Program of the National Center for Paralegal Training.

Laurie Seitz, Paralegal   

Ms. Seitz has worked for attorney Joy Melton since 1996 and joined Hindson & Melton upon the firm's creation.  Her areas of legal expertises are family law, wills and estates, and personal injury.  She is well experienced in all phases of pleading preparation, case management, interview techniques, and client relations as well as litigation through mediation and trials.  Ms. Seitz graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a B.A. in History and the Lawyer's Assistant Program of the National Center for Paralegal Training.

Robert Leeth, Research Associate    

Robert joined Hindson & Melton in 1998. He has lived and worked in Atlanta for 28 years. His duties primarily consist of legal research, estate computations, and assisting with Probate Court issues. Robert retired in 1998 after 35 years of experience as an Information Technology Manager with the Federal Government. He says “working with Hindson & Melton is my fun job, along with golf and 2 granddaughters.”
